A community your children will love and be loved.

New to Sugar Ridge Kids?

  • We are investing for the future.

Sugar Ridge is trending up in all directions. We started out as a small church in a small building and we are growing so fast! Because of this, we are launching a campaign called “Grow With Us” which will raise $200,000 to help build on to our current building and give our teachers, students and children the facility they deserve to grow in the Lord.

We currently have dividers set up to help divide grades and the ages of students. While it’s effective, safe and the kids have a blast, we know that it’s only a temporary solution.

Our hope is that you will grow us as well. Sometimes growth can be hard and there can be growing pains, but it’s so exciting for the future at the same time.

  • Worship & Sunday school

We tried the consumerist church model. Short term its nice, comfortable and quiet. Long term our children lose out at pivotal ages witnessing and partaking in corporate worship. We believe God designed us to be worshippers and because of that we don’t mind nor consider crying children a disturbance or inconvenience. They were created by God for God. So we worship as families, and yeah, sometimes there are children that get loose. Don’t sweat it. We aren’t a perfect church and we aren’t pretending to be. We are imperfect families trying to walk together in a journey towards Jesus.

Once our worship team is done, we then dismiss our teachers and classes and turn it over to Pastor Tyler for an engaging Word!

  • Our Team & Security

We don’t like “weird”. Everything we do and teach your children is coming from the Bible. There is never going to be a sunday that you are caught off guard by your child on what they learned in Sunday School.

We have an incredible team led by Liz Gibson, and they do phenomenal. All children workers must pass a state and federal background check before they can be considered to volunteer. Your childs safety is at the upmost importance to us. We never want to lose yours nor our communities trust.
